Epiroc has today a scattered environment of ERP applications (SAP, BPCS, Scala, M3). We have selected M3 as the future ERP system and we are now starting our journey to upgrade our current installation to the latest version and roll this out to all our companies within Epiroc. Currently we have 2500 users in 8 countries and will, in the coming years, grow to 9000 users in 70 countries.

We are therefore expanding our team and are currently seeking new team members with an interest in M3 Integration and Output Management and M3 Technical maintenance to be part of our future. You will be responsible for providing M3 services globally to all our Epiroc companies.

Job description

In this role, you will work both strategically and operatively. You will be responsible for delivering M3 solutions coming from business and IT demands. The demands can vary from smaller changes to bigger projects. Through a change process you will convert the demands to the design of the ERP solution, considering alignment with global processes, user efficiency, minimizing risks and future maintenance and development.

As the Technical Specialist, you have the responsibility to plan, maintain and secure that we have a stable M3 environment. You will be working with our monitoring tool (OP5) to prevent incidents. In the change process, you will ensure that change to the M3 environment is implemented according to defined process.

As Technical Specialist, you will be a part of the support process and work with incidents from end users and team members. Your role will be to support with technical knowledge and technical investigation.

The Business System Team within Epiroc is a global organization so you will have the responsibility to support teams and users all over the globe.

The ERP team is expanding and to be able to fulfill the required ERP knowledge for the team members we will work with both internal and external training solutions.

Experience requirements

  • Experience of working with ERP (M3 knowledge would be preferable)
  • Technical knowledge of ERP (M3 knowledge would be preferable)
  • Business Process Understanding

Personality

The job requires a lot of collaboration both internally and externally so good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite to be successful in this position.

A proactive personality is desired, with a capacity to deliver in line with expectations and objectives as the work is conducted with full responsibility and flexibility within given frames.

We also expect you to be well structured, service minded and adaptable to change.

You must be able to travel internationally.

At one of our M3 Hubs Nanjing (China), Örebro (Sweden), Garland (US), Santiago (Chile), Sidney (Australia) or Johannesburg (South Africa).

Company presentation

Atlas Copco's Board of Directors announced in January 2017 that it will initiate work in order to propose to the Annual General Meeting in 2018, to decide on a split of Atlas Copco into two parts. Atlas Copco will focus on industry and Epiroc will focus on mining, infrastructure and natural resources industries.

The current Mining and Rock Excavation business area – core of the future Epiroc - provides equipment for drilling and rock excavation, a complete range of related consumables and service through a global network. The business area innovates for sustainable productivity in surface and underground mining, infrastructure, civil works, well drilling and geotechnical applications.
