We need to strengthen our team with another two specialists and look for candidates who want to be part of a global team and work with inventory management services and solutions together with our Customer Centers and Product Companies globally. This is a possibility for you who are confident in your logistics and inventory optimization expertise, like to build relations and like challenges with the world as your workspace.

About the Role

The main responsibility for this position is to optimize global inventory levels in order to achieve a healthy stock and deliver world class service and inventory management expertise to our customer centers/customers. Using your analytical skills, you will advise and manage activities in order to optimize availability/inventory on a global basis. You have daily contacts with our customer centers' sales worldwide where you assist them in issues regarding inventory optimization, logistic best practice and support the sales force in retaining our existing customers’ business as well as winning new business.

In our efforts to work more efficiently, you will manage projects with the purpose to create a more proactive team. 

You will be a part of our team located in Fagersta, Sweden and report to the Global Inventory Control Manager.

Our Candidate

You are highly result oriented, structured, analytical and comfortable working with different cultures and countries, at various levels within the organization and externally with customers. You are a skilled change agent.

We look for a professional individual who has;

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering/Logistics or Supply Chain
  • At least 3 years’ experience of logistics and advanced inventory optimization
  • Excellent skills in Excel, ERP-systems and Inventory Control Systems
  • Fluent in English and Swedish. Knowledge of other languages is a merit.

Certification in Logistics from APICS or similar would be advantageous, as well as project management experience and skills.
